Tips on how to clean stained toilets

Here are some tips for cleaning stained toilets
- Use vinegar
Using vinegar to clean toilet stain will soften the brown marks. Using a toilet brush, remove the water and pour one liter of vinegar down the toilet. Leave for a few hours or overnight before scrubbing the toilet bowl and flushing. Scrub the obstinate markings with a decent toilet cleaning product or soda crystals. This will remove all the stains and leave your toilet looking clean and fresh.
- Use citric acid
Citric acid is a more robust alternative to white vinegar that eliminates limescale. To clean the toilet with citric acid, push the water out with your toilet brush, pour hot water down the toilet, and follow with at least 250ml of citric acid. Allow it to sit for as long as possible, preferably overnight, before scrubbing and flushing. Scrub and rinse with a decent toilet cleaning product or soda crystals once more.
- Use dishwasher tablets
All of the solutions are relatively eco-friendly; however, utilizing one eco-friendly dishwasher tablet is one of the most environmentally friendly methods. Dishwasher tablets can be beneficial in removing brown spots from your toilet. Therefore, choose an environmentally friendly brand and drop one tablet into the toilet bowl. You may need to wait a few minutes for it to dissolve before agitating it with the toilet brush. Allow it to sit for as long as possible before scrubbing and flushing.
- Lemon juice and vinegar
Mixing lemon juice and vinegar can also help remove some stains, and the smell is nicer than pure vinegar. To clean using lemon and vinegar, remove the water from the bowl and pour the mixture into it, allowing it to sit for as long as possible. Before flushing, scrub. You might even put some soda crystals in the right before flushing to help with cleaning. The reaction between them can boost cleaning once the acid has had a chance to work.
